As a member of one of the elite airborne, he fought in Normandy, Holland during Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. He was also the division commander General Maxwell Taylor's radioman and had an unique perspective of those famous battles. October 18, 2008 Annual Chicken Dinner and Military Vehicle Display from 10AM until dark.

The vehicle rally in 2006 saw 15 vehicles and numerous visitors through the museum. We would like to expand this event and invite all living historians to set up displays at this years event. Ideally we would like to see an encampment from every major military conflict in this nation's history. If you would like to participate, watch the website for news and updates.

We will also be having the chicken dinner from 4PM to 7:30 PM. Come see the vehicles when you pick up your meal! Tickets will be sold in advance only as the caterer needs to know how many dinners to provide ahead of time. See any Museum board member for tickets.

November 9, 2008 Marine Corps Birthday

The USMC birthday celebration will begin at 2PM with a guest speaker and a cake cutting ceremony.

November 11, 2008 Veteran's Day
